SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT PILLAR

Through our Social Development initiatives, we aim to engage in programs focused on alleviating barriers that affect communities daily, such as food insecurity. In many African communities, these issues are particularly acute. Over 55% of the population in South Africa alone experiences poverty, with childhood poverty affecting 63% of children. Nearly 20% of households in sub-Saharan Africa face severe food shortages. Additionally, socio-economic disparities and lack of access to basic services exacerbate these challenges, leading to long-term health and developmental issues. By addressing these critical issues through targeted programs, we strive to create sustainable solutions that empower individuals and uplift communities.

Programs under this pillar include:

  • Wellness program for the elderly
  • Soup Kitchen
  • Ad- hoc (providing solutions as needs arise. E.g. disaster)
  • Sponsoring and supporting other NPO’s
  • Annual Golf Day Fundraiser
